IADP-partner Arup has been a key part of the Project Management team since the project’s inception and has advised on every aspect of the project’s delivery.

AstraZeneca’s new global research and development centre and corporate headquarters will be located at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The new facility will bring together AstraZeneca’s small molecule and biologics research and development activity, opening up opportunities to exploit the promise of small and large molecule combinations. The new site will also become the company’s largest centre for oncology research as well as hosting scientists focused on cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, respiratory, in ammation and autoimmune diseases and conditions of the central nervous system.

Arup’s Programme and Project Management team commenced work in May 2013 by administering and supporting the design competition. They continue to lead on key programme and project management roles.
